On a remote planet in the Pleiades, Liandri sensors detected a vein of Tarydium so rich, that scientists dismissed it as a system malfunction. Error or not, teams of freelancers soon set out to explore the mountainous terrain. Due to frequent, powerful sandstorms, the explorers found it best to install their Power Cores in deep, natural pits for protection. Maximized power receivers, on the other hand, were found to work best in higher elevations, leading to ongoing conflicts over the most desirable high ground. Because of the potential windfall if these vast resources do exist beneath the surface of the planet, no expense has been spared to provide each side with the weapons and equipment they need to dominate the hilly terrain.<\/p>\n
