When the Liandri Corporation was testing the idea of multiple power pathways, like they used in the Taiku<\/a> Plains to construct the Gilgamesh<\/a> transport depot, they needed a research facility for testing. That facility was Uroboros, an underground complex where scientists set up three different pathways between two Cores. The resulting network proved that a power chain could be maintained, even though two adjacent chains had been compromised. What the scientists had failed to realize, however, was that while that one power chain remained intact and viable, opponents still had two other chains that could lead to your defeat.
