Zynga\u2019s as much a video game company as any of the interactive entertainment field\u2019s brightest lights. Of course, given the firm\u2019s primarily business-focused approach to design, it\u2019s also the devil incarnate to some. But the real irony that many people miss is that the outfit may inadvertently be one of the best things to happen to gaming since the invention of the home console.<br \/>\n&#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kotaku.com.au\/2011\/04\/is-zynga-now-a-video-game-company\/\">Scott Steinberg<\/a> @ kotaku.com\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It&#8217;s a big article, chock-full of interesting observations.  Here&#8217;s a sample:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nThere\u2019s a reason gaming\u2019s most legendary developers continue to defect to the social space, and it\u2019s not six-figure paychecks and lightning-quick development turnaround times alone.
